We are very pleased to open the Hampshire County Scouts Leader Applications for the 26th WSJ in 2027.
Applications will close at 10pm Saturday 29th March 25 (for E-mailed / online). Postal applications will close on 26th March 25.
If you are looking to apply for anything else (such as a participant, Project 27 Leader), then please see Pre Register for 26th WSJ27 / Project 27 as these application process are to follow.
Please make sure that you read through the role profiles for the three types of roles within each unit, to ensure that you know what is expected for each role.
We have also produced an extensive Q & A document, which is very important that all applicants read. It will answer a lot of questions around the WSJ, and how Hampshire manages the WSJ units.
Please Note : We are still waiting for a lot of information from the UK Contingent to be released. This may change anything, and we will obviously have to follow any updated information.
You can apply using either a paper form (print, complete and then either scan/photo and E-mail, or send in by post), or you may complete an online application form.
Section 2 of the application, you can submit a video entry, rather than write an entry.

The Hampshire County Scouts Trustee Board has again set up a grant program for the 26th WSJ 27 / Project 27. This is also open to leaders of these events if they need financial assistance. However, in a change to previous, leaders must apply for grants at the same time as applying for a leader role. Please use the link in the above table to apply for a grant.
Grant applications are processed by the Grants Sub Committee, who decides on the level of grant to be awarded.
The WSJ Management team (who runs the WSJ selection process) will NOT be aware of any grant application, until after the leaders are selected. Leaders will then be notified of their selection result, and if selected, will be informed of the grant decision at the same time, and will therefore be able to make an informed decision on acceptance.
